Day 0: Try to lay propped up with pillows. When numbing wears off, some discomfort is normal. Use your Alocaine or Colloidal Silver Spray to ease discomfort.

Day 1: The swelling will likely be worse in the mornings and lessen towards midday. If you’ve had eye treatments, you may find it difficult to open your eyes the following morning, however it will subside throughout the day. The swelling typically peaks by day 2. Swelling can also spread to the under eye area, DON’T PANIC, this is normal. The upper and lower eye are all connected, therefore the fluids from the upper eye will drain to the lower eye area. You can start applying your given healing serum 2- 3 times a day as needed to the treated area for moisture. Use the spray for any discomfort throughout the day.

Day 2: You may still have swelling and the “dots” will start to crust/scab over. The scabs must not be picked, allow them to fall off on their own. Your level of discomfort will have subsided a bit. For those who experienced the under eye swelling, this will still be present. Continue with healing serum and spray as needed but do not keep your crusts wet. Allow skin to dry between applications.

Day 3: Some mild residual swelling may still be present on the upper eyelids but for most the swelling will begin to subside. Discomfort should diminish. Apply healing serum 2-3 x per day for moisture. You may wash your face today as instructed. Clean hands, cold water and Cetaphil gentle face wash. Pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Keep area dry.

Day 4: Swelling should be gone and carbon crusts may begin to shed, especially around the mouth. For some people, the skin will purge during the healing process causing breakouts. This is normal because we are regenerating the skin cells so toxins will sometimes be pushed to the surface. Do not pick or use acne creams or medications. Allow the skin to go through its own healing process.

Days 5 - 10: You are patiently waiting for the remaining scabs to fall off on their own.  It is normal for the new skin under the scabs to be pink or red and flaky as the healing process continues. You can continue to use your healing serums as instructed. Once scabs fall away from areas, go in with your instructed stem cell serum and balm to add in extra moisture to the new skin, capping it all with the mineral based, broad spectrum sunscreen.

Weeks 2 - 8: After scabs fall off, you may have tender, peeling or textured skin for a few days or weeks. Once your skin is no longer tender, you may safely use a non-physical, gentle, enzyme exfoliant to slough off peeling skin. I recommend staying extra moisturized during this time and babying your skin as it regenerates. After scabs fall off, you may also use healing serums, lotions and make up. Each day, your skin will progressively return to its original coloration and texture.

Remember it will take 12 weeks for healing process to cycle through completely and for skin to regenerate and for collagen to renew. (You may continue to see results for up to 6 months.)

Depending on laxity and desired results, you may want to have multiple treatments on the same area. Areas may be treated every 3 months to let the collagen heal and turn over. This length of time may change depending on desired areas. For example, the eye skin is very delicate and may need more time between treatments so we do not compromise this skin’s tensile strength if overworked.
