my story

My life’s journey has taught me priceless lessons and taken me on endless adventures.

My most recent lesson has been about self care and how we can gain confidence and conserve youth by taking a non-invasive approach to skin care. My most recent adventure involves helping others reach their skin goals.

The tales that explain the time in between are below.. thank you for being here!

I’m Lindsay Swift, Fibroblast Technician and owner of Fibroplasma Blushing.

On the left is me before plasma fibroblast treatment. On the right is after my 3rd fibroblast treatment to my eyes and after 1 treatment to my whole face. As you can see this treatment has changed my skin drastically and for the better!

My journey to this point has been one of deep reflection, introspection and questioning. I now know that my purpose in this life is to help others. More specifically, I want to help others feel more confident and less insecure because if I’m being honest, I spent most of my life feeling insecure and it’s no way to live.

I believe multiple things can be true: you can live a life full of uncertainty and questioning, while believing in your soul that you have a bigger purpose. For me, that call was to be unapologetically myself, without ego and to see myself as worthy and deserving of happiness. It is Human to fall and feel defeated, but it is our Soul that encourages us to get up and try again.

On Paper

After high school I attended Santa Barbara City College and then transferred to UC San Diego where I graduated with a BA in Communications.
After college I decided to travel around the world and collect memories that would shape the way I see the world and our place in it.

Returning home to Santa Cruz, CA I met my soulmate and husband and a decade later we had our son. We have built a beautiful life together and I feel blessed every day. During this time, I went back to school to pursue Nursing, worked in restaurants, taught multiple Dance classes around town, worked in Medical offices and ultimately began working as an Assistant Bookkeeper at a Mushroom Farm, where I have been fortunate to work for the past 9 years, expanding my knowledge of Accounting, HR, Business and Farm Operations. During COVID I Homeschooled my Kindergartener, worked part time at the farm and knew I still had an urge to discover my life’s true calling.

The Real Me…

I have a sort of wanderlust; for experiences out in the world, but also for learning as much as I can about my passions and the things that inspire me. When the pandemic began, I immersed myself in every podcast, YouTube channel, audio-book, exercise, therapy, etc., searching for my life’s next direction. This exploration set me down a path towards my dreams. Eventually I struck a chord inside myself and realized that life is happening no matter what, and I can either be an observer or an actor in mine. Everything boiled down to this one thing. I wanted to take care of myself by taking care of others. I felt best when I was of service to others. There is a saying that when you need help, help someone. My inner knowing became loud that I was able to help others by beginning with myself. There’s beautiful symmetry when you allow space for yourself so that you can show up for others.

Bring it Home…

Self care for me involved everything from exercise to meditation and therapy, and then I started experimenting with skincare treatments. I wanted to do something more drastic for my skin as I saw signs of aging set in, so I tried a laser treatment called Thermage which is excruciatingly painful and not effective, in my experience. Botox, which is fun but it is expensive and I can’t help but dislike the idea of putting toxins into my body. Then I found plasma fibroblast through an Instagram account (@fibroplasmabeauty, now my mentor, affiliate and friend) and followed this account all through the pandemic. I was so intrigued with her clients’ before and after’s! I saved up some money and finally pulled the trigger to have my own face blasted :) only to fall in love with the entire process: from getting to know my technician, to my results, and now to my post-treatment journey of becoming Fibroblast Plasma certified and bringing this amazing treatment to all of you!

I am now working as a Fibroblast technician in Santa Cruz at Estrella Collective and am loving every second! I have seen some incredible results with this treatment. I have formed an LLC for my business, we offer payment plans through Cherry, I offer coupon codes at times, giveaways, holiday promos and am simply loving getting out in my community and offering something that helps people feel a little more confident.

My biggest manifestation however has been to become an affiliate of Jane Welsh of Fibroplasmabeauty. She is a major expander for me and I am so happy to be on her team of affiliates located around the U.S. If you would like to learn more about Jane and Fibroplasmabeauty, click here.

When I get messages from clients expressing their happiness and satisfaction with their treatment… it’s a fast reminder of WHY I chose to do this!

Thanks for reading a little about me.
